Well luckily there were one or two decent performances amongst quite a bit of dross

Pasty 8 Pulled off a few miracles there
Lia 3 An awful first half, how they didn't score I don't know
Siggy 7 Got in some terrible tangles, mostly with Vinnie, but settled down and mostly defended and led well
Griffiths 6 Quietly did the job, his best game so far
Lochie 5 Awful second half, some good last ditch stuff in first half
Manny 5.5 Anonymous in first half, got a little better
Smith 6 Positive with the ball
Dani 4.5 One excellent cross, nothing else
Leo 5 Poor corners, little else
Ifill 4 little impact and managed to be  lazy offside when it was an easy goal
Greenie 7.5 Some strong work, great volley and header, unlucky, why subbed????
Daniel 5 Tried hard
Ward 2 Touched the ball once and gave it to the Dogs
Downey 5 Did ok in his five minutes

What do you think, if you can be bothered!

Pasty and Siggy kept us in the game, Greenie nearly got us in the game.

Disappointing from the rest.

You've given Vince Lia about 8 points too many.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

I have a few unanswered questions from last night...

* Why didn't Ricki swap Manny and Lia when he saw early that they were targeting Lia for a banjo-toting redneck-style ass raping on attack. Surely that simple swap could have dampened their tactics for a while.

* Why was Bertos playing in the middle of the park on attack, kind of like a second striker for most of the first half.

*In fact, why was he even on the field ahead of Daniel. Yes I know, Daniels only got 70 minutes in him, but isn't that what sub are for? Isn't it usually Bertos who gets subbed at 70-80minutes?

* Why the f**k wasn't Bertos subbed off?

* Why does Ricki insist on putting Sanches out wide? We've seen how impressive he can be playing in behind Ifill and Greenie, why change a good thing.

* Why was Lia on the park?

* Did Ifill play last night? I can't remember seeing him attacking.

.. the list goes on.. I hope there's a better showing next week against Sydney, but im guessing with Dura and Brown nack, it's back to the same "play for the draw" squad and mentality.

Sigh.

You would think the thing about Manny was a no brainer- our best right back since the club has been founded, won us an away game from there before and now into an anonymous midfield.

Some work for Ricki to do to get some results here and keep the heads above water.

ratings forgot to include Ricki who gets a big fat 0 for some of the tactics and positions he played the team

sydney look like they're going to win the current game being played against the reds.  If Ricki and co don't understand that a draw is not good enough now, then it will be too late.  There are teams behind us that can overtake us in one game

I believe it was 3. In a row.

My feelings still stand. Yes a win is a win, and i love the 3 points as much as anyone else, but only one of those games did I feel that we fully owned the match.

I don't believe an ugly win should mean concerns about players out of position, or dodgy tactics should stop.

"Ricki, What the f**k was up your substitutions on the 18th of feb against CCM? What the f**k was that?" Or "Ricki Why do you always sub off the players who are performing well or seem like our most likely source goals?"
Repeated through out the entire 50 minutes or so.
