The Wembley approach, ie get to pub, drink up large and the leave pub half an hour before game and wander down road singing and chanting (Cambridge Hotel)

or

The Highbury approach, go to a pub right beside the ground, sing songs and drink right up til the last minute and then race into the ground to catch the kickoff (Calendonian Hotel)

If the votes go 50/50 then perhaps we just do both, whoever wants which option can just do that.

get everyone into one of the pubs by the Basin, and crank it up from there

Yep ,

I agree FM drink in one of the places close to the Basin , then only a hop skip and jump to the game.Will there be beers available at the venue? I bloody hope so.

I used to drink in the bowling club behind the away end at Easter Road, never left earlier than 5 to 3 for a game.
Big drink my pref, although my experience of a few Coveites on my trips to Sydney have been, leave 90mins before ko to go and setup the Tifo, flags, banners, bunting, streamers etc.

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

i like the idea of 300odd(hopefully more) walking from a bar nearish to the game chanting, that would raise some awearness of the game etc.

Yip I reckon the Walk down Cambridge Terrace could be quiet interesting maybe even hold up a bit of Traffic etc etc
