Pre-season tour rumours

I was keen as beans for the tour to China last season. Don't think I could have afforded it, but I would  have made it work somehow!

Post any rumours you hear of pre-season junkets this year- especiallly if they are anywhere close to the leagues of C, K or J.

I'll bump this over the months so...any rumours factual or otherwise.

It wouldnt be the All Whites first 11.
But im guessing that draper would play for them.

Or just the younger ones

It would probably be the under 21 team.

Given it's in March I'd say it's prep for the AWs so the Nix AWs would play for the national team. Unless it's to give young guys and fringe players a game at a higher level than usual.

Either way im so going to be there

Isn't the Confederations Cup be in June?  The season proper doesn't start til August as far as I'm aware so it should be sweet.

14 to 28 June.

But it's a real FIFA tournament, so the Phoenix have to release players. No option.

That'll give youth and fringe players a run so that's good.  Add to that it'll be during pre-season cup only (if even that) so if we're slaughtered it won't matter.

WRT coaches: Use your noggins boys, who does the game have more importance for, Phoenix well past the end of their season and tons of time until the start of the next, or the AWs, a couple of months out from the second-biggest inter-confederation tournament behind the WC? WO will take the Nix, BT and RH will be with the AWs, probably.

Phoenix to play Inter Milan in a friendly next July as a build up for the A League, Inter will of course be bringing new signing from the LA Galaxy - David Beckham with them.

Except he's with AC Milan, not Internazionale.
