Spent a bit of time there today - great pub and has to be the one.
I was going to suggest the Thistle as well, good pre-match venue I
reckon.
As for away game, Bar Edward in Newtown has a good range of beers and a big screen

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!
The Black Harp does a canny pint of Kilkenny for before the game
and if that gets too chocka the Leuvin is opposite.
I Always go to the Black harp before the Rugby Then it's just
a short stagger to the match
Hi, posted on the other pub thread, anyone fancy getting a meet up
in a pub to dicuss this? If there is going to be guarenteed trade
on Sunday's etc. any pub will give incentives to fill up the quiet
shifts. Not that much of a fan of the Thistle but it might be a
good starting point and always dead at the weekends will be an
option as a 'fans' pub.
