Proffesional football's effect on NZ Football

I'm a student taking a diploma in Radio at Aoraki Polytechnic in Christchurch. For one of our assesments we are asked to create an hour long audio documentary on a topic of our choice.

I am looking at doing a documentary on the effect the 3 proffesinal clubs based in New Zealand and the '82 All Whites have had on football in this country. How/if they've increased popularity, publicity, skill level etc. Also looking at how Yellow fever and Bloc 5 have effected football and these clubs.

I am looking to find some people to interview who are knowledgable and/or involved in any capicaty (including supporters or followers) of any of the following:
  • '82 All Whites
  • Football Kingz
  • New Zealand Knights
  • Wellington Phoenix
  • New Zealand Football
  • Yellow Fever
  • Bloc 5
  • NZFC
  • Club football (any level right down to the childrens football)

Particularly looking for people who started watching football because of any of the proffesinal teams or the '82 All Whites or for that matter people who think these clubs have had a negative effect on NZ Football (probably not many of them floating around on here).

If you think you can help or you've got something you'd like to contribute then either reply to this thread or PM me.

All help and comments are appreciated

Good for you Gangsta. All the best with your Radio career mate and it would be great to hear the documentary when you've finished.
The more pro-Wellington Phoenix media stars there are, the better!
