I saw the first ads for the game on the sides of buses last week. Over three months out !
Takes up the whole of the side of a bus and reads:
"BRING YOUR GAME Wellington Phoenix AMI Stadium January 30"
With the Phoenix logo.

My own personal all time favourite has always been Pomeroy's, and I am not even of English extraction.
Their own home-grown beer selection is of Wellington standard, if not better. OK, I am a local, so I am biased.
In the CBD not far from Dux Central (among the Top Five) is an old favourite, Cassel's, which also has another outlet and brewery at The Tannery in Woolston. Their beer is excellent too.

So the only issue is the location of the AMI stadium, but even from there you can easily reach several bars on Lincoln Road in Addington (walking distance) and Riccarton (also walking, just longer).
