Hi,all
does any one no when season starts and how much match day
prices are going to be and all so are season tickicts there to buy
at all and price of!!!
Preseason starts Friday the 13th of July!!! I hope you New
Zealanders aren't too superstitious about things like that.
Regular season starts 26th August with (according to a draft
draw) the season opener of Roar vs Phoenix at Suncorp. The first
home game is in (I think, this is just from memory) the third round
against Sydney FC, so hopefully you can draw a massive crowd to
that one.

There will definitely be season passes available. No idea
about prices though.

I don't think that Jafa team was ever called the Kinz - but it is going to be different now it's in Wellington anyways.
Whats a "Jafa team"?
And yes, I agree that it will be different this time, but not
only cause its in Wellington. Better coach, more NZ players,
etc
I think if the powers that be want to give us a decent crack at it,
GIVE US A BLOODY HOME GAME FIRST ROUND!! Big crowd, hopefully
get a result and the punter comes back. Conversely, as it
stands, we play a couple of tough ones on the road and maybe miss
out on 5000 on the gate. go on!2007-04-02 22:07:05
Less of the negative talk already.
GET YOUR SHIRTS OFF FOR THE BOYS
you're right go-on. That would be very helpful. I guess there will
probably be a pre-season comp like there was last year too.
Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet
Think I saw somewhere we have home game in the pre season cant
remember dates.Maybe someone else spotted same thing and noted
dates.
GET YOUR SHIRTS OFF FOR THE BOYS
No lads. Points of a Farina led Clogs easy... all we needs a
draw in the next one and they'll be rolling in the gates... chuck
in the Pre-Season cup win and I'm thinking 25k...

Details of a draft draw obtained yesterday have the Wellington team
playing just three of its first 10 A-League matches at home.
The first of those home games will not be till the third round of the season, though it would be against glamour side and inaugural A-League champions Sydney FC on September 7.
The franchise, owned by Wellington property tycoon Terry Serepisos and to be coached by All Whites coach Ricki Herbert, is set to play its first two A-League matches away.
The season-opener at Suncorp Stadium-based Queensland Roar is on August 26 and five days later the capital franchise will take on current A-League champions Melbourne Victory, who last year attracted crowds of up to 50,000 at the Telstra Dome.
The first home match against Sydney would then be followed by two more away matches, a home match against Perth Glory, three more away matches and the third home match of the season, in round 10, against Melbourne.
The flip side to that, however, is a dream run in the second half of the season, with seven out of their last 10 matches at home, which would bode well should the side pick up enough early season points to be in contention for the playoffs.
The likely Pre-Season Cup draw is much more favourable, however, with the Wellington team set to play its first match away against the Central Coast Mariners on the weekend of July 13-15 before consecutive home matches against Sydney FC on the weekend of July 20-22 and Queensland Roar a week later.
It is understood the team would play Sydney - its first home opponent in both the Pre-Season Cup and A-League - in Wellington, either at the Basin Reserve or Westpac Stadium.
The second match against Queensland Roar could be played at either FMG Stadium in Palmerston North or Park Island in Napier.
The venues for the remaining two Pre-Season Cup matches - the playoff round and finals series - would depend on placings in Group B, with Group A containing the other four sides - Melbourne Victory, 2006-07 A-League finalists Adelaide United, the Newcastle Jets and Perth Glory.
Meanwhile, it is understood the team will almost certainly play all home matches in the first season in Wellington, with time pressures making arranging matches in cities such as Auckland or Christchurch unlikely.
Negotiations with Westpac Stadium - the probable home ground - are understood to be one of the most pressing issues for Serepisos' group.
