Seriously Rufer? Be non-existent the whole first half hour and then shoot one that is never going to go in?

Could've gone in if he struck it right.

Most shots could go in if they were struck right

Dunno about Galloway, running down blind alleys and getting caught out of position a bit.

I think we just looked undercooked, which isn't a shock given our preseason

His dead ball techniques been reasonable, but the rest of his game's been poor. Too slow on the ball, poor awareness

If Smith stops seeming a little hesitant and scared of the ball and pulls off more catches like that, he could be a solid choice. Getting the support of the players and crowd too, cheers whenever he claims the ball

I hardly recognise anyone. Who SAS the silly sausage who muffed the clearance and gave away our goal? Sack him, whoever it is

Ridenton has been by far our worst player, and is the reason why we aren't stringing passes together. Smith has been poor too, but I expected that - very rare in football that an 18 year old keeper won't show a bit of nerves. Has not been helped by what has gone on in front of him, especially by Abbas.

Every time he gets the ball, he waits 1 second too long and gets picked. His general passing has been very poor as well.

Paracki looks about 10 steps above everyone else on our team. What a player he is.

Very disappointed by Rossi. Has been very weak. Mullen has been better. Quite impressed by Galloway; confident on both feet, willing to take players on - final ball not always there, but he also often doesn't have many options to pass to.

Rufer has been surprisingly good. Has turned Isais a couple of times and that ball into Kaluđerović for the shot was class.

Hard to judge Kaluđerović as he has barely had the ball really. Decent shot for that chance though he hesitated a bit.

Worst comment reserved for Abbas - what the fudge was that for their goal? He didn't even try and stop the cross. Absolute kamikaze stuff and a real let down after a good start.

Hi is 18 years old and has men twice his size going at him. It is a good exposure to him at this level and I, for one, am happy we have him as a good talent. Will be as good as anyone in a couple of seasons if not better.

Why expose him at this level now and potentially damage his confidence though?

I assume that better people than you and me looked at him close up and decided he was ready.

They've got it wrong. Not even taking his own kicks now.

Three for me, and two for them.

Or that Italiano was so poor he was the only alternative?

As a goalkeeper myself I can say that this must be an absolute nightmare to play in for Smith - no keeper loves a game where your focus is dealing with crosses and not actually saving shots, as the pressure raises exponentially when you're forced to come for it. This constant crossing and lack of shots must be nervewracking as hell for him, doing no wonders for confidence.

Thank fudge we got a new some new midfielders and attackers in the off season. We now have new players to bypass with aimless long balls.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.
