That is a much better team than we have previously put out when the All Whites have played

Other than Tim 'Darren' Cahill, are City without any of their starters?

I believe Franjic has some really bad illness that will keep him out for a few months

Franjic has heart inflammation from a virus, will be out indefinitely. Gameiro is also out with his ACL tear.

I wish Franjic well on that one. Not a nice thing to happen - to anyone.

Anyone else already fired up for the game??

My guess for the starting line up

Moss
Tratt Fox Rossi Lowry
Bonevacia Lia Rodriguez
Krishna Finkler Parkhouse

Bench: Italiano Jack-Henry Sinclair Rufer Rogerson Watson

With the 4 AWs away & Doyle, Fenton & McGarry injured it will be a real test of our depth

I slowly get that game day tension, it's a mix of excitement for goals and the fear of loosing a game. Love it!

I was really hoping moss would he away with aw  honestly.  Give Italiano a chance to step up,  if his form from his loan keeps improving a competitive match might challange the number 1.

Well this cancels out the Duro song for starters. Any new ones?

Disagree on a few fronts;

               Mossy

Tratt Foxy Rossi Parkhouse

         A-Rod Vinniesta

          Roly Gui Rufer

               Krishna

Italiano, Lowry, Singh, Rogerson, Watson

Either way, it's going to be a very unfamiliar defence. Remember when we had Boxall, Siggy, Dura and Manny? Alien to me, now.

That defence looks kinda scary to me.

Looking like it will be this except with Parkhouse at LB and Watto up top.

Now that we are within the finals 7 days before the BIG KO, have any thoughts gone towards our opening banner? I was thinking of a play on that Poltergeist quote - "They're Here" and make it...."We're Here". It's not a political statement but we did survive.

I've really hated this gap between the seasons this year and I think it has reflected in some of my posts. My sincerest apologies to you all for being so cynical and negative at times.

Fenton won't be in the match day squad, he's replacing Ryan Thomas in the tour of the US.

5 days to go? Seems like a perfect time to post the Nix winning 5-0 over the Tards.

Victory had more starting players that now play for the Nix, than the Nix did.

Edit: Actually the same, I didn't see Lia in there.

Edit 2: And Moss... damn. I should go to bed.

Four days to go, here's the Nix beat the Glory 4-0 on the way to the playoffs. Featuring a Tando Velaphi howler, Vuka hitting the crossbar and Vinniesta scoring a goal.

If the weather on Saturday is like it is right now, I would be hoping for a bumper crowd. Perfect day right now. Already pumped. Just need the ST to arrive or a hasty call to Brenda!

Gee, both those line ups really show how much the league has improved.

Great article about top clubs being affected by FFA not stopping for international Windows. They called us a top club. Then some chopper ruins it by saying "it's hard for Australians to feel sorry for New Zeanders, especially in sport...." Thanks for the clarification - we don't feel sorry for you either, you deserve everything you get Skippy.

How do you ruin a beautiful woman? Give her an Australian accent.

"Ufuk with the Club, Ufuk with the Country".
