Perth defending well - the difference in the amount of space in midfield for us and them is  staggering

I feel we looked amazing for about 15 mins that half. Shoulda scored 2 during that period. The rest of the game we have looked pretty sloppy. Still Nix look more likely to score, just havent had someone who can score goals on the end of good play. 

We have a big chubby midfield. Poor at the back. Poor at the front.

We seem to sit off them a lot in midfield. Each one of their passes also seems to stick, is this down to poor marking?

Sigh....So far confirming my worst fears about this season. Unless we somehow conjure up an actual striker this is going to be another tough season to watch.

Perth deserve their lead. They have dominated the midfield and their players have had a lot of time on the ball. We look good in transition but we couldn't sustain our good period for long enough.

I think 1 half down of our first game, we look like we have not quite settled. Some passes have gone nowhere and we should have had 2 goals. A-Rod needs to get involved. It's like we are with 10 men
