Yes not sure if mentioned on here, but Talay has said Hooper has been recovering from a groin niggle, hence his minutes limited to date.

They are targeting 4th Jan (game against CCM) as a start for him.

Also terrible play by Steinmann so far - so man passes have been straight to a Sydney player. He always starts games like this, 30 mins where he forgets how to pass.

It's becoming a common theme; same happened against WSW.

Biggest culprit both games for me has been Steinmann. Multiple poor passes putting us under pressure from the off. Would get Rufer back in ASAP

Not all on De Vere that goal, didn't seem to be a clear call from the keeper and I really expected him to come for that.

De Vere had to do better either going to the ball or screening it, and once Marinovic came out, he had to just collect it.  Horrendous defending.

Marinovic needed to do his job. He came for it he has to then continue and get it

Disagree on Marinovic coming - it was heading away from goal, probably shouldn't have gone out there, but he certainly should have let De Vere know what he was thinking.  But not sure what De Vere was doing even if he thought he was coming - it wasn't like he boxed out the Sydney player from the ball at all.

Disagree, he made a mistake and DeVere was in a position to cover for him, instead for some reason not even bothering to get his body in the way

Great for Rene to get on the scoresheet. He's a genuinely exciting prospect.
