I'm a bit out of the loop here but what happened to the Back Bencher being the pre-match pub for the Fever?

Have you been recently? It’s horrendous post refurb (amongst other things). Won’t be back.

Reporters were asking Chief about  the possibility of 10k turning up to the game, so they seem pretty optimistic.

When I was younger and attended many weddings on a Saturday afternoon/night that clashed with (usually) All Black or Kiwi games, there was always a group of hard core (and male) fans huddled around some TV (no internet then) in the bowels of the hotel/reception centre, watching the game. Each of us bodly saying that either we picked our own wedding date that didn’t clash or would have the balls to organise our own future weddings with no such clash. Even older people will recall getting up in the middle of the night to listen to the All Blacks playing over in the UK on the wireless. Those were the days.

10 years ago tomorrow I missed us demolishing the victory 5-0 as I was getting married. 

Friday night I'll miss the game as we're going out for an anniversary dinner, hoping for the same result! 

Congratulations, of course, but what a terrible sense of timing.

Very hot out in the hutt. A decent breeze (for out of towners).

Im hoping for an entertaining, attacking game. If so this could be the boost the team needs for the run into the finals.

 Not sure but I feel like you'd think not if they've been saying it's the strongest presale and they could crack 10k. Not sure how many members we have but maybe around 2k? so that'd be close to 8k which would sound about right and then hoping for another couple thousand walk up

are you in silver? It might just for silver be 5000 something as most people sit silver

Explained last season as commercial sponsorship obligations. Home & away strips have different primary sponsors. Presume same is true for this season. Nix owners in no real position to turnaway sponsor dollars.
