Everybody on this team wants to be the playmaker, nobody is there just to simply put the ball in the net the way I see it

David Carney can go eat a dick!

David "Most Punchable Face in Football" Carney

Stiff competition from Matt Simon, Mitch Nicholls and Leigh Broxham but yeah he just about takes the gong.

60% Carney's game is falling over

And the other 40% is making Dura look average.

Early on in the game when he fouled Fox (IIRC?) 2 or 3 times and then fell over and got the call down the left shows what his plan is. When possible go to ground and pressure the ref.

Can we brighten up the mood a bit by playing a bit of a game. Who's got a good haiku to portray the Phoenix' first half performance?

We are still short of our best side but I did expect a lot more from the side today. Nobody want to take the game by the scruff of the neck, and many of the senior players appear to be cruising. Lucky not to be 4 down. If we can get a quick goal this Jets side might fold.

On this performance we are light years away from the top six.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Powell showed enough to suggest he's a centre forward, but also perhaps the front three or not on the same wavelength

yes if he can stay there..too often he seems to be out wide right.

Yep need leadership from Roly Riera and Mikey...we're going to get kicked around up front. Need to overcome and turn the momentum around...There's no confidence out there.

It is quite strange. After that excellent backs-to-the-wall effort last week we suddenly seem to have no ticker for a fight.

Agree with Harper (?) there.  There was absolutely no need for Durante to come in like that.

lets hope we do better than round 1 when we played against 10 for 15 minutes.  Pass it quicker guys and create space

To be fair to Dura, he must get very frustrated seeing his best player getting chopped time and time again

However he isn't going so well this season, and it is showing

I don't think they consistently play well together..and Im not convinced A Rod helps when all three are on the park.
