Thank you!!
A shakey finish - but bar for the final 10 minutes of the second half they did not create much which is positive.

I'll take "things I could have never imagined hearing before the match" for $500, Alex
Ramming liberal dribble down your throat since 2009
This forum needs less angst and more Kate Bush threads
Italiano MoM. WeeMac and Roy close 2nds.
Galloway also atoned for his terrible error by playing quite well afterwards.
a.haak

Haven't been a fan of Italiano, but he was good tonight. Couldn't do anything about either goal.
Well played boys Take a bow Lewis. If only we could get that frigging defence sorted out.

I don't know if you can 'atone' for a clanger that bad, but he certainly put it behind him.
I'm Fudgeing estatic
I'm going to text my Novacastrian family and friends

You might want to take your own advice - "Fouls that do not have an impact on the ability of a player to play the ball should not be called".
There is no way Rossi putting his hand on the jets player impacted his ability to run and/or shoot.

Plus every single corner in every single game has worse shirt pulling than that.
For what it's worth the Jets fans don't seem to think it was a penalty.
If it wasn't Rossi, say Fox who gave away the penalty I wonder if people wold jump as much? Rossi has had a lot of stick lately...
A lot of people saying he doesn't care, but you could see that was not the case today IMO. When Italiano made a save near the end, he was right there, talking to him, slowing him down - you don't take those moments when you don't give a toss!
A great result, but we are still bottom of the league. Can't get too excited yet. Have had 10 years of building up my hopes.

Pulling a player back by the shirt who is through on goal impacts their ability to play the ball in a significant moment of opportunity.
You do get why these are called the dark arts by players, right? Doesn't make them legal
If we saw a free kick for every shirt pull - the game would never finish.
Soft penalty
Petratos pulled our guy's shirt right in front of the ref first half, ref just waved it on.
Did you notice our throw that was blown out by the wind and given as a foul throw. Then when the Jets did exactly the same thing it was a retake?
one worry aspect for next game is Dura and Rossi Borg getting yellows. Both must be close if not at suspension plus Fox already out

I'd suggest you rewatch the incident before claiming that it had an impact on the player.

Why, are you suggestibg that Rossi was trying to help him with his balance?

Damn happy! Krishna is now one goal away Ifill's mark of all-time leading goalscorer!

Really confused by this comment. The position of the player, and the way in which they release the ball define a foul throw (if play is restarted). If whole ball crosses the line, play restarts. If it never crosses the line completely, play doesn't restart
The wind can't make it a foul throw
