I thought JBS had a reasonable debut, will have learned a lot from it.

Liked his ability to pass short on the sideline.

Good luck for your next game

Great effort. It's amazing how much better we play away from home this year. Well done!

Been a great Sunday. First the Black Caps now the Nix. Great 3 points on the road.

Three for me, and two for them.

I am happy. Took some money back from the TAB too. Excellent.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

He did but they were trying to bully him at the start of the second half and getting to him. good work again by Ernie for dropping Manny back in there to shore it up

yeah, great coaching, and brilliant stuff from the young guys.
I always feel nervous when subs occur, but there is a real feeling of depth in the squad now, and so often the subs have provided the moment of magic.
Excellent game to watch, and fantastic result.

I think when we heard Riera was out and also Cunningham and Boxall (on top of Leo, Ifill and Fenton) most went 'oh well, maybe next week' - I know I did.

He has them playing a good brand of football and believing. This will be a massive confidence injection - winning when you are without players and not lucky winning, deserved winning. I think he takes a lion share of the credit (as much as I prefer to leave coaches out of it)

Everyone has now played except Watson but he will now be able to assess Shermy if he is to come back. I'm not sold but he was not completely pants (ala Totori, Downey). Poor defending in the 2nd goal but you do wonder when a young player on debut settles into the game cause I'm sure it would be a combo of nerves, chicken head and over running to put in a massive effort. I think that's why he blew out.

yeah, were a long way from the complete package but how things have changed. The next problem will be keeping our up and coming talent

The talent stays, why should they go? Imagine you had to choose between Victory/Muscat or Nix/Merrick?

Two great goals for NJ, but they were pretty pants apart from that.

We scored 3 great goals and should have had a couple more.

All round its a pretty decent effort away from home in the heat with several players out.

Maybe we may even get 10k next week???

Not me. I think Hernandez and Steyn are having such an influence that the others are believing too. I think we are genuinely looking to put away these teams now with a squad, not a team.

totally agree with the "deserved winning". They scored a cracker with their first. Other than that I think we outplayed them.

Just think what might happen when we have everyone back on board. (Though Leo... Nah)
