R20 v Glory | Sat 17 Feb | 7.30pm | ROF | NOT a milestone game, honest...

Honestly think we can pump them tonight. Not necessarily saying we will, but we can. Nobody is really expecting it, and Perth will be the most confident they've been all season given we've been thrashed 4-0 two weeks running. The return of Krishna is huge as we all know, and it also means burns will have a lot more space to do his thing. Doyle returning is a huge win as well, he's been one of our most underrated players this year. Rossi and Italiano are absent, as is parkhouse I think, which can only mean good things. Singh and Patterson hopefully on the bench to add a spark with 20 minutes to go, could be shaping up to be a good night in the YF!

I'm optimistic on the grounds that 3 of the most memorable games I've attended have come before a month away from Westpac; the 5-0 v Victory in 2014, Save the Nix in 2015, & Newcastle on Guy Fawkes last season.

Well, in this new "e-league" thingy which started this week organized by the FFA on FIFA 18 where the clubs facing eachother that weekend play eachother over two legs , the Nix did win their inaugral e-league fixture vs. the Glory 2-1 with Ruud Gullitt scoring for the Nix and (Brazilian) Ronaldo scoring for both sides  (each side comprises current A-League squad members and guest legend players).

We won the first leg  - who cares about the second !!!

No doubt some Ocker cheating was involved in us losing the second leg, going down 6-2 after being up 2-1 up at half time (4-2 on aggregate) to lose 7-4 on aggregate in the end.

Hope we get a great result in what’s another milestone match for the Nix! McGlinchey’s 200th A-League game. Hopefully a milestone match is the catalyst we need to win a game #Weemac200
