If someone shoots when they should cross and we criticise them for shooting instead of crossing then that is not scapegoating. Scapegoating comes from Biblical times when people would direct their sins onto a goat which obviously had not sinned. Criticising is not scapegoating. If we lose 5-0 and people point to Krishna's error at the start of the game as the sole reason we lost then that is scapegoating.

In its January issue, "World Soccer" magazine published in London listed Ruben Zadkovich as the number one "Biggest Loser" in world football for the previous month for his sending off after a couple of seconds against the Phoenix.

Nice photo of the crestfallen Zadkovich with Tom Doyle next to him too.

Each issue, "World Soccer" has a feature where it lists the "Biggest Losers" in world football from the previous month in one column (with details explaining why) and the "Biggest Winners" in the other column.
