If we were to win the next 4/5 games that could tell me that the players were not giving 100% in the past, and that would be a worry.

I would say that would probably be a fair call, if DK was as crappy a man-manager as rumoured. Personal pride can only motivate you so much when you know the consequences of a win will be your hated boss looking good.

I also think you shouldn't underestimate the effect a poisonous team culture can have on even good players with normally good attitudes. I've seen players doing badly in those environments turn into champions in the right atmosphere. While we like to think professional players should be tough and give 1000 percent all of the time what ever - many are fragile prima donnas that need stroking to get the best out of them - as the actress said to the bishop.

Really promising team, think it could work wonders if everyone’s used to their switched up positions. COYN!

Is there any place where I can watch the replay? Fox Sports won't show Wellington replays throughout the week, so, anywhere online?

MInus Parkhouse.

Greenie clearly rates his youngsters, or perhaps he's been told to blood them.

Very underrrated Renee I've always felt.

The good news is even if we lose we can't do any worse performance wise than the black caps today. But I'm hoping the change of coaching will bring a draw at least. Hopefully Rogerson gets some game time today, would like to see what he do

I hope Burns feels now that he's been put on notice.  Another sharkty first half and he's replaced by Parkhouse.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Personally, I do not think we've seen enough of Emma Branagh on TV3 news. Her tech updates were good, but her weekend weather duties were just a joy to behold.  And clearly Greenie puts his faith in the youngsters - both Singh and Cacace to start!

Ridenton & Singh starting and Rufer on the bench ok; but Libby in the middle, parkhouse and Galloway starting and Logan too - ALL

in the same 16?

Anyone told him this isn’t a weenix Handy game?

Early period of pressure from WSW. Their passing accuracy is way superior to ours, and they're not even top six material.

Already miles better than bucket of sludge we witnessed at the Mariners. Still too many breaks slipping through in behind between our fullbacks and centre backs, but it seems like we can create things and we don't look outclassed yet

Are you surprised with the number of kids in the squad that greenie has selected? Singh, cacace, galloway, parkhouse, rufer, ridenton, Rogerson all still with more youth experience than senior experience.

I wasn't asking about this game squad, more about the season squad. I miss Siggy and Tim Brown.

Ned Zelic. An excellent player in his (especially younger) days, and a true eccentric.

We need more like him.

Playing a crap load better than the last few weeks... nice to see some pressure up top. We are actually seeing more ball as they hit it long.

Yeah, Santalab and Ikonomidis certainly had their chances.
