So does Boxall come in with Manny to right back and Ridenton in? Or does Adams come in? It's a tough call, personally I thought the midfield against Glory was shocking, especially at the start, so I think if there is any confidence in Adams, then Manny needs to stay in midfield.

Could do with another injury replacement but no idea who.

Manny to rightback. Some kind of makeshift midfield containing Lia, Ridenton and Cunningham I reckon.

Or perhaps a Carlos Hernandez?

Grumpy old bastard alert

Hernandez in midfield, manny RB, Boxall CB.

No way I'd be chucking Adams in for a game as important as this. Didn't think Manny was the best in midfield until he got switched anyway, and Boxall looked tidy at CB. Without Carlos (who knows what's happening there) I'd see it:
                                                       Moss
                                     Manny Boxall Dura Timmins
                                                Ridenton Lia
                                                        Stein
                                            Kenny Harry Boyd
Otherwise Carlos comes in for Stein who takes Krishna's place up front.

Both Timmins(groin) and Krishna(leg) have picked up knocks, hope to be fit for the Newcastle game.

You aren't going to bring Carlos in in a deeper midfield role though. He would replace Krishna or Boyd with someone else coming in as well. Timmins NEEDS to be fit. No cover at all.

Hernandez to RB

Lia DM, Carlos AM, Kenny LM, Ridenton RM, Boyd and Krishna up front. You could always try Brockie at LM but I dont think he has the work rate and despite Kenny running around like a headless chicken, at least he does run.

So worst case scenario we lose Krishna and Timmins for this game too? So that would make our list of missing players: Ifill, Fenton, Riera, Caira, Brindell-South, Sigmund, Krishna, Timmins, Carlos (if we believe Ernie)? Is that all? I feel like I've missed one or two

Scary when you could almost create a starting line up with the players missing.

Ah right. That makes 10 then. We just need a keeper and it would be a whole team:

Brindell-South        Sigmund         Timmins         Caira

                                       Riera

           Fenton                                       Bertos

                                      Hernandez

                         Ifill                              Krishna

Yikes!

Is Leo fit again? If he was looking ok at training I wouldn't mind him coming in at right back and shifting Boxall in.

I just don't like the Lia, Cunningham, Ridenton midfield. We have tried that a few times and it just doesn't work.

I though we played better at a higher tempo on Sunday, I'm not sure I'd rush Hernandez straight back in although the injuries may dictate in the end.  Although maybe he should be the one to drop deeper.  You'd lose something defensively but you'd hop we'd keep the ball better which helps - Ridenton is still pretty raw even though I'm a big fan.  Krishna looks fresh, I'd keep him in definitely

Birighitti out, Ben Kennedy in for the Jets. Anyone want to buy him another Macca's ice cream to thank him for beating GCU in the 2010 playoffs?
