Whose it, whose out...

Doyle looked class last night, does Parkhouse deserve to be dropped?

Permalink Permalink

Parkhouse looked good going forward vs the Jets but he didn't have to defend at all and we all know he can't do that to save his life. After last night Doyle has to start surely? Especially given he's just been marking Rojas and Ingham in training.

If the Nix can win a couple of these final games it has to help Des and Chris's chances of being retained.

If that's true, then we are looking at a very long season next year.

I think the up and down nature of our results show the need for real change, otherwise we are doomed to carry out the same mistakes.

Sunday 7 pm sucks as a time for a game

Right, so the equation is such:

We win our remaining 3 matches and rely on at least 2 out of either the Jest, Tards or Cakes beat the Wandertards in their last 3 matches or rely on Perf to also drop at least 6 points against  the Cakes, Clogs or Cahill FC amd conceed plenty in the process?

Oh I don't want them to stay on as head coaches either. But Morrison and co who felt they were actually worth giving a go to would probably see  finishing 7th with a flourish as enough potential to keep them on given their rep.

I think we need a total coaching clean out, but I'd be reasonably shocked if it happened with the owners we have.

We have nothing to lose, may as well have a real go at MV like our season depends on it. WSW and PG on the other hand might choke at the business end. I'd much rather be in their positions, of course, but still, it isn't a nice feeling looking over your shoulder.

As for our fancied opponents tomorrow night, what are they playing for? Apart from avoiding injuries now that the hard work reaching the finals is done?

If the Phoenix were a genuinely competitive side, with heart and smarts, then they wouldn't gift this week to these aforementioned clubs.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

Well, we don't have anything to play for. I'm expecting a spanking as usual in Melbourne.

From Piney, Durante, Ridenton, Doyle and Krishna in for Fox, Lowry, Parkhouse and Watson. Italiano keeps his place in goal

Tards cannot lose 2nd place now and we know they can't finish Top.

I reckon they might be there for the taking tonight!
