Surely the club and Rudan say something. They can't leave it another week, it'll get toxic. Hope Mark doesn't just bristle when he is asked about it in the presser, that can't cut it anymore. Someone needs to stand up and give us some clarity

Can we get a home final still?

we'd have to win against city next and the draw against Glory in Perth to guarantee it.

That certainly wouldn't guarantee it, and nothing can right now. Really need a draw between City and Adelaide tonight to realistically stay in the hunt.

We scored two goals in the last two games, one by Sheridan and one by Taylor.

If the club thanked Rudan for his services and put him on gardening leave now (if he has indeed given his 8 week notice) then there might be a chance for the team to put on a good show against Melbourne City next weekend.  Even if we lose, my guess is the performance from Krishna and Williams may just change dramatically.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

This would be what I'd want to see . Would save me the hassle of working out how to react to Rudan. I hope the press call him up on it. Andrew Voerman, Rollo and Piney, you need to do this. Press him hard.

Might watch it again, but did he say that the club and the players knew before the CCM game? If so that's just f u c k e d... Timeline matches up too - 8 weeks from round 20 (don't forget to take into account the International break) takes us to the end of the regular season in Perth.

If so, that's just calculated to make us look bad, possible too that he was at a juncture where he thought we weren't going to make it (which was a distinct possibility at the time). Saw his out in the form of this 8 week notice b u l l s h i t, and now here we are, up shark creek, but with a paddle who doesn't want to continue the fight.

Might as well call him Kalezic 2.0, tell him to f u c k off and let Greenacre take the wheel.

I thought that at the time; result aside, the Nix players looked like there'd just been a death in the family.

Yep.  The 'hard' man Rudan, who demands fierce loyalty from players and staff, shows himself to be nothing but a hypocrite.

Big issues on the pitch, and has been for some time, is we are back to regularly conceding goals.  One clean sheet in 14 and you will get turned over from time to time.

Dura is playing quite terribly and Taylor isn't anywhere near what he was at the start of the season. Kopa's form has also dropped off a cliff.

Disagree. Dura had a poor game but he has held things together pretty well with Taylor injured.

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

A lot of people had a really poor game against Adelaide and of course Brisbane and I am not prepared to give them much grief about it, in hindsight.

Agreed. Key is that they pick themselves up now, dust themselves off and provide a really good shift this weekend (and ideally all the way through to GF too!)
