So, anyone going to the Grand Final on Sunday?

I sure they'll play better than New Zealand's 3rd best team are right now

Rogerson better not miss after telling the senior pro to piss off!

All in brawl over who gets the penalty?  Ljujic hovering on the spot to try and sneak in first?

Eeesh, not a great penalty either.  Still, in the back of the net it is.

Compared to previous seasons where we missed constantly... thats a cracker!

How can we get things so wrong so consistantly, season after season?

3-1 down, 89 minutes, Sail kicks the ball out. Sums up this team.

Gotta say, Rogerson has more than stepped up these last two weeks. I know he's had his critics and maybe rightly so previously, but he's been very good in both games. There's not a lot more a young squaddy can do to get a contract renewal

Sail played well tonight, but other than that, very disappointing.

We had no midfield tonight except for Paracki and as a result, all we did was chase the ball and pass aimlessly back to Adelaide.

We were no worse under Kalezic than we were today under Greenie.

Rogerson: 2 weeks ago most people said dump him... now its probably 50 / 50 maybe a bit more in his favour.

1. Team culture. Everyone is quick to applaud mediocrity. See: the rapturous response to the last two results where we drew and lost at home.

2. Average imports. Ljujic, Paracki, Rossi would struggle to get games at other A-League clubs. AK started strong, underwhelming since.

3. Poor leadership from the top. We're going into yet another season without a coach locked in early.

4. Factors out of our control; Aussies don't want to come to us, Travel is shark. YF try hard, but in a stadium as big as Westpac, the atmosphere is terrible as well.

5. Something that IS in our control - we don't use the resources available to us. Our biggest advantage is that we can use kiwis without taking an import sport. Instead, year after year, we sign piss poor Australian players like Galloway and Parkhouse who are simply not up this level.

Bloke is only 19. People are far too harsh on him. He's got a long way to go, but at least he shows a bit of effort. He's a young kiwi, support him. We gave Watto a go, why not him?

Just wondering, are you talking about the culture of the playing group? If so, I agree completely, and I would like to add that we have seen standards erode completely over the last few years. It's now ok for full backs to let the crosses come in, it seems fine for midfielders to do a few sprints every now and then. Dodgy pass from a defender? No worries, as long as you don't do it too often. The team has no standards and the word mediocrity is key.

Only saw second half (oh dear) but Rogerson looked decent. And he's only 19 like Singh. A prospect I reckon. We have to look to the future cos he present isn't too good and the past not much better....

With respect, I think we need to build something that works. If this involves the kids then great. If the kids end up on the fringes, they will benefit more from coming in to an effective team when needed.

BTW, something that definitely does not work is this current side. If I were to pick a team to play that game all over again, it would be full of kids

Just a bit of perspective.

This Adelaide team is full of kids and doing just fine

Was in the away bay for this one, really enjoyed it despite the team not coming back out of the tunnel in the 2nd half. I also called a 4-1 defeat, so the positive is we kept it to 3..

Umming and Ahhing about it, simply because I can't stand QBE. Soul-less, shark facilities/atmosphere, ball-ache to commute to and parking's usually poor. I hate to admit it, but being on the box makes going to the game even less attractive.

I give him credit to go in and bring on some ‘Rogerson Flair’. If we still had Watson we’ve got three offside instead of a pen.

Did anyone see that absurd moment when Durante, who was last man and bringing the ball out,  tried to play a one-two with Paracki? He gave the ball then made a forward run like an attacking midfielder leaving nothing but space behind him for Adelaide to play into if they got possession.

Goes to show how much he has contributed to us conceding so many goals.

Players at this level should know better.

There was one moment when Burns and Krishna went for the same ball, 10 meter from the half way and nobody got it because they are in each others way. Those players should be only close to each other in and around the box. Hopeless.

All season pass holder schould get 50% off next years season pass because for delivering a failed product.

Still not happy with the no pen call. This is why no Aleague refs selected for WC. Penalty we lead 1-0 from the 4 th minute. Adelaide may or maybe not get that 45’ goal, at worst (hypothetical) we go in 1-1 at the half.  Read all the match reports and it reads like the whole game was in the 2nd 45’. The frustration almost boiled over when Doyle flattened and Roy did the chase back on the fast break.

You think Ninkovich, Bobo, Casto, Fornaroli or Berisha get those pen calls, you bet.

Wonder what the headline was after last weeks game against the Jets.Typical double standards turned the commentary off from all the shark they were spouting.

Galloway > Burns? Oh my

Galloway did the same mistakes yesterday as in the Team Welly pre-season game, not learning. Doyle was equally bad, tried 5 times the same move and lost the ball 5x, not learning.

So the turning point was after 4 minutes and we had hammered them up to then.

For 90 min. we were second best.

Hasn't the club delivered you the 11  games in Wellington it promised when you purchased the season pass? I'd say its delivered on exactly what you purchased.
