Rotation City - an inexperienced line-up. A real test of depth tonight. Wihongi-Hudson, Elliot, Sutton and Wilson alll starting. No Ball, Devlin, Steinmann, Fenton or Devere. Not sure about this ...

Ball and Devlin not even on the bench (already know that Devere or Steinmann wouldn't be there). Who is the CM cover?

Elliot and Sutton is definitely a dumb decision

Not playing Ball is the same

Wtf don't we want second place?

He ran his butt off for 180 minutes in the last week, he was always gonna be rested.

Massive test for our right hand side with the two inexperienced lads there, personally I would have gone with Davila up front and have Sotirio provide some help for Elliot. Big test for the kids, hopefully they show they are up to it.

So many other teams have already copped injuries to influential players that it makes sense to rotate our squad as much as possible.

may be happy to make top 4 and then have the stars present and first rather than chase 2nd?  May have confidence that other games will still get them 2nd

Our passing is OK but we don't look threatening. As you'd expect Sutton, Wilson and Elliot not quite up to standard. Nice cross from Elliot though for the Cacace half chance.

Adelaide looking a team with their tails up.

Need to keep our composure.

Agh! why didn't Piscopo hit the floor? Surely a pen.

Isn't it still a pen if he falls or not? Contact still made and disadvantaged him.

I'm ok with us resting players, but 3 new player's is excessive. It's a very bold move, here's hoping we get away with it

Four if you include HW. That's a quarter of the team with the barest handful of games. No wonder we are looking underwhelming.

Actually a third of the team!

Suppose he's expecting Hoops to bang a good one in and the newbies to do well in defence.

As dull as puss. Hooper looks class when we get it near him. Otherwise, it's like watching paint dry.

Sotirio is stealing a living. The only positive commentators ever say about him is "what great energy he has". Needs to get some skills.

I actually thought Elliot has been good, defended well. Looks more suited to the game than Sutton or Wilson.

Taking comfort from the "playing badly but still getting results" narrative.

I thought some positives from the young fellas (Elliot in particular) - but hard when they haven't really played as a team. HT changes will be interesting

I know, I know, its serious!

Would love a draw out of this!

Hooper has been great, Sotirio terrible, and hoped to see more out of Piscopo with this lineup.

Surprising that Devlin isn't even on the bench given he didn't play last weekend.

We are compact on defense as always but Adelaide look more like scoring. I don’t like the way we drop so deep in defense....we got away with it against Perth but It could cost us tonight.

I have no problem with squad rotation especially with three games in a week but the senior guys really need to up their game tonight. Pescipo has been really quiet while Sotirio looks in poor form. The youngsters are doing OK. They are keeping it simple and playing within the team structure. We need a bit of Hooper magic and keep defending as a block.

I would be happy to get a draw out of this to be honest.

plenty of practice here for our defensive shape. But not sure where our midfield is.
