Coming down to Welly for this. Hopefully other out of towners are coming too , good ol Labour weekend. Time to burst Brissy's bubble.

If we had beaten the Jets, this would have been top of table clash unlike last weekends cellar dweller batlle.

Starting to get fired up for this (and the long weekend)

I'm really interested to see how our midfield does this weekend against some half decent opposition, because the Jest and Glory (esp. without Marinkovic) were both pretty pants. I've been loving Riera sitting a little further forward linking with Roly who has been able to create tons of time and space for himself. Lia has also looked a lot more comfortable in the holding role, and has provided some crucial cover there. It will be interesting to see if they are able to keep this up against tougher opposition starting with McKay, Corona et al this weekend.

Just a bit gutted that we're away for the weekend so will need to follow it on the box.

Should be a cracking game, Brisbane will come to play without any of the bus parking, persistent fouling crap. Come the end of the season I'd expect us and Brisbane to be in similar positions, so this could be a massive game even this early on

Just thought I should point out there are no trains this weekend, so make sure you plan to get there early...

Note it does say "SOME" services, but all lines and all services are listed as replaced by buses :D

Maybe they should post updates when they are running, might have to give BREAKING updates on less occasions.

"Johnsonville trains experiencing 10min delays today" or "We're delighted to announce Johnsonville trains are on schedule today" One seems sooo much more positive.

Brisbane have actually looked great early this season. Corona has the potential to be one of the league's best players. It should be a great game given the way both teams try to play.

Corona has been terrific - Roly-esque in terms of touch and time on the ball.

Based on stadium pricing I'm guessing it will be $18-$22 a beer?

Still cheaper than a pie at Twickenham I guess.

What do you care what the price is you Drunk Monk...

I assume that Ernie will name the same team as the Perth game, but I'd like to see A-Rod brought in for his passing accuracy and work rate to combat the pressing game which we haven't really faced yet this season. Dura's still out, right?

Because remaining a Drunk Monk on a budget isnt easy.  As far as pricing goes thats not any where near as bad as I would have expected.
