jeebers, sotiro sure isn't a footballer is he

i think he could only really be considered a very attacking wide right player

That there is why Hooper should be on for Sotirio

Really hard to see how we break down this side twice in the next 25 mins.  Our only goal so far this season has come from a deflection.

think Hooper would be up for the box pinball

If Hooper isn't fit enough for 30 minutes yet it's going to be a long first half of the season.

I like Ball a lot. He is trying to rev us up by example and has done that in the last 5 minutes.

Piscopo looks like a footballer when he's on the ball

Perhaps closest to Singh. Looks to have time, keeps his head up, keeps the ball moving, crisp passing. Should be starting IMO.

distance shooting at the keeper. Meh

Chipping into our short front line.

If Talay's not going to play Hooper, can he at least put Waine on for Sotirio??

Permalink Permalink

Come on Hooper! Get yourself in the box! We have got the ball in there a fair bit in the last 20 tbf. Surely he can latch onto one

Permalink Permalink

We've got about 5 creators on there but absolutely no one to finish it off - at least bring on Waine ffs

I'll be listening for the twang when Hooper's groin goes.

Hello Hooper!

Hopefully the XI we have out there at the moment is the team that starts to string things together

Why wouldnt Waine shoot there

But the pass was good to thin air.

loving Waine Piscopo and Hooper.

Really good squaring ball from Waine there splitting the two defensive lines..  Shame no one could find the timing of the run to pick up on it.

Íf it was only 1-0 this would be nail biting. Still, we've done pretty well this last 20-25 minutes.

The one good thing today has been Davila - he's getting better each game, has shown a lot of effort  and good technique

I prefer the pass - nine times out of 10 it either goes past the far post or is at the keeper, it was quite a tight angle.  If that pass finds a runner it's in the back of the net more often than not.

Ball is looking very good too. Looking forward to seeing them combine with Hooper for a full 90

Think Ball has struggled today personally, barely touched it in first half

The pass beats the defence- shot from that angle is unlikely to.

Usually a shot that close results in a rebound from keeper if you hit it hard enough

Looked like a different team since the introduction of Hooper and Waine. Showing some attacking impetus.

Scott has killed so many attacks by being slow or cautious - such a huge loss not having Libby there

Actually from when Piscopo came on we have really upped the tempo.

Was just about to say this. Waine and Piscopo have been positives for me in this one. Hasn't been much else unfortunately.

Marinovic also very good.

Just finding it too hard to break Perth down. Almost seems that we've been playing in slow motion down both flanks in this 2nd half.

No Fred it's not the attack that needs work, it's the defence.
