That would be nice except they have an excellent goalkeeper - one we should have signed.

He has had offers from Arsenal when they needed to replace Fabregas, but Lia said his loyalty is with Wellington. Top bloke.

Yeah.... he had to weigh up the relative quality of weather, beer and football in both places. I'd do the same.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Well my sympathy to Ernie. I have been the victim of a house fire 19 years ago (no casualties just damage) from a faulty electric blanket left on. It's one of the single most devasting things that can happen to you without personal injury cause all your personal effects (if it's not completely to the ground) will be blackened and eternally smell for anything that is salvageable. That reminder never goes away and it's the personal effects you lose that hurt the most. Photos, trinkets, the lot. They can be replaced but it's the memory reminders you lose. Photos of my parents were gone and of my childhood too.

Best wishes with it and hope things work out for him.

do you think they will show the game live & on time? After seeing how badly they mocked it up when daylight savings started I am a tad worried..

Well, I'll be damned - I assumed it was a line of jokes (came to expect that here). Sorry to hear it was a real fire at Ernie's.

I hear that, I missed the first half cause of that daylight savings.

I'm glad the game starts earlier, It'll be on at 11pm here I think(Beats 2am).

Hernandez, Brockie and Stein have to show up, need a win this week, no more moral victories needed.

Spooky you say this, especially the bit about photos. Two days ago I got all my childhood pics and have scanned them all. Including my Christening certificate etc. Worthless to most people but deep meaningful stuff for me.
