Can't see us collecting any points this weekend either. Best start the kids.

Hope we don't look like we're chasing shadows out there.

Would hope most of the bench gets a run. What are the rules regarding who can drop down to the Handy Prem for the WeeNix?

3 points essential.  Must win game or season over.

It's a TeeDubs home game - look for the max # of pro players at DF Park 2 pm Sunday

What's the maximum number again? Was it 3 or am I making it up?

They were the only 3 not in Melbourne, so that may not be the max. I seem to recall it being unlimited under a certain age and 2-3 above that?

bye FC have the better goal difference I just can't see us breaking their defence, VAR could also ruin our game to give bye FC a chance to convert from the spot. If we don't put them away early it could be dangerous. Uffie must be under all sorts of pressure to get points from this game

I just cant see us winning this one...

Why does Ufuk stick with the same tactics even though they don't work, even against bye FC we wont get no points. He is so stubborn.

guys be positive- they haven’t scored a goal all season. Clean sheet here will give the team a lot of confidence !

They do not even have a memorable team logo, let alone a good kit.

Anyone know what day/time the game is? My fridge magnet doesn't have it listed, must have been printed before this fixture was confirmed.

I think for this one it doesn't really matter what people say or how we play

Ball has been good, but he'll look a lot more confident with a goal or two under his belt. Unfortunately not sure he's going to be able to bag one this weekend.

On the other hand, I would not be surprised if Taylor is knackered after this round.

As long as they have fun, that's all that matters :)

Expecting a bit of an off day from both sides.  Can't see this being much of a spectacle.

Still reckon we will get dicked by VAR!

Hopefully Hooper is available for the match against Bye FC ..LOL

2 weeks off and time for Ufuk to work on setting his team out more progressively.

Maybe he can bring Des in as a consultant, since Des won't be in Ireland

So our matchday against Bye FC....surely it counts as a Derby, no?

Honestly, the way Talay is giving Hooper less game time to get him match fit is good. If u look at Alex Meier of Western Sydney Wanderers, most of the time he's walking on the field. Clearly showing that he is not match fit for the A-league because they put him right in the deep end.. Surprisingly, Duke has been scoring more goals than him. Its a wise decision by Talay to not put him in the deep end right now especially because of his ongoing quad injuries. Hooper will slowly develop himself and become matchfit for A-league matches. Shouldn't take that long now.....should see him starting against Brisbane

I think Hooper is out for 3 weeks minimal, going by his history.

At this stage last year after 5 games we had 4 points.

But goals for were only 3 and goals against were 9. That was after 3 home games and 2 away games. We played NJ, BR, WSW, MC, AD.

Only 2 of those teams made the top 6, and they finished 4th and 5th.

So this year after 5 games we only have 1 point.

With goals for 5 and goals against 9. After 2 home games and 3 away games. Have played WU, SFC, PER, MC, MV

3 of those teams are currently in the top 4.

There is reason for optimism.
