Probably will, yes, considering the amount of players we have out to the international break and injuries.

As he was last week thus the marked improvement at the back (probably helped that we weren't playing Victory in Melbourne).

I thought so too . Has he even played a Stirling Sports Prem game ? Hope he is not exposed too soon on return , as a young guy they should look after him

Apparently they couldn't repair whatever ligament it was so they just removed it. Thus a quicker recovery

I'm no medical expert but I would assume that the knee ligaments perform some sort of function...

1 from the traveling squad will be omitted for the match day squad, I think he will be the one omitted. Just strange we would throw him back into the mix without a SSP game or two under his belt.

Great news for him if it does not limit him moving forward, and great news for the u20 side where I expect him to play a really big part in the team moving forward.

Another option for LB.

Sure, if by LB you mean attacking midfielder.

He has done well at LB in youth internationals. Could be handy last-resort cover there in the future (à la Ridenton), but I doubt he's ready for that yet.

I can confirm that "better out than in" is a valid and often successful medical approach.

He was suspended against the Jets after a red card in the game against Victory.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Hudson should've called up Storm Roux for 2 reasons:

  1. He's one of our best right-backs
  2. It would've weakened the Mariners thereby helping the Phoenix

Annoying because we could've exploited the left wing against a player that doesn't play as often.

Are we sure that Roux has been cleared as eligible for NZ - not born here, hasn't lived here for 5 years after the age of 18? Did his exemption come through in the post-Olympic qualifying shambles?

You're confusing Roux and Deklan Wynne, who started today at RB. Roux moved to New Zealand age 3 and went to Mount Albert Grammar. Either way, Wynne must've been cleared because he played today.
