So no Kosta, Dura, Fenton, Moss, Doyle, Parkhouse or McGlinchey.

Guessing Fox in for Dura, Lowry for Fenton, Watson for Kosta and Roly for McGlinchey

And just to crash everyone back down to earth, here is our record during international windows.

Probably line up:

Mambo

Tratt Fox Rossi Ridenton

A-Rod Lia Roly

Watson Finkler Krishna

Bench: Sail, Lowry, Rufer, Litfin, Rogerson

Permalink Permalink

What about Rogerson or Litfin as a more like for like replacement for Kosta. We saw what happened against Melbourne City when Watson tried to play that wide role...

I wouldn't be against Ridenton playing that role if Lowry is fit enough to play at LB.

Or Rufer for that matter

To be fair, that is far from the worst line-up we've had in an international window in the past. Hopefully Roly feels like he has a point to prove and gives Ernie something to think about when the AWs return.

This.  We just won the first game of our streak to winning the league, so it can't stumble next week.

Is Roux playing for NZ... he's pretty important for them on attack so will help us out.

Rogerson has been minging in the SSP

Personally I am less worried about Rogerson or Litfin than I am about Roly noticing he was benched against the Jets for a reason.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

To get a result this week is a pretty big ask.

Seems pretty good, but is Ridenton really the best option at LB?

I was already annoyed he wasn't picked for NZ, now that I realise we are playing CCM and he is up against us it makes it even worse. Come on Hudson, help us out next time!

It's CCM, we usually gift them the points and then will beat the Victory after that hammering they gave us.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Will Fox get picked or will they look to drop Lia or A Rod into the backline?

Fox looked terrible the other day and I'd be a little hesitant to start him... play Rufer or Ridenton in the middle instead.

Rogerson has been poor apparently for the u20's perhaps Max for a shock call up... I day this more in fantasy and hope for a nz football prodigy to emerge and destroy opposition defences around the world.

Fox will start. Despite his Victory performance, he's less risky than playing Lia or Alex at CB

Im pretty sure Lowry can play LB but questions over his fitness. Jack-Henry Sinclair was on the bench in Rnd 1 but he has been playing at RB for the WeeNix. Ridenton at LB isn't ideal but the most experienced option for it.

Looking forward to singing hey mambo. With all the players out I'll be happy with a draw but I still think we are better than CCM. I also want to get my shirt off :)
