Yes. Our defence was good. Moss was great. Manny and Siggie put in a great shift.

Comes to show what poor confidence does to a team.  I was kinda waiting for Melb City to open the scoring, so dominating they were at that early time. Instead, our first goal came against the run of play, and you could see how deflated Melb City became all of a sudden. They immediately went on back foot and their best players (the front line) became underutilised, while their leaky defence was suddenly exposed. The rest is history.

Back  from match..took a while to get started that's for sure.  More going backwards than forwards but maybe that was the plan.  Some underhit passes.  Not sure of what A Rods role was in first half.  There were some lost opportunities for through balls again but it worked eventually.  Didn't see line person flag it tho but then I was expecting ref to whistle.
