That match summary is from the CCM game.

IMHO it was a penalty and the VAR should have had the referee view it.....along with the allegded "offside" goal.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

So the nix deserve the harsh treatment by the Ref's, oh sorry the opposition need less fouls called against them.

So much so "Blew". Because I was trying different parts of the ground to keep the grandson happy, it gave me the chance to appreciate just how much noise the YF make. they were in fine form on Saturday. It really was that good.

Am I reading this right? of 21 Roar fouls on the Nix only 2 warranted cards 12 by the Nix 4 warranted cards?

Firstly these are the stats from the CCM game, not the Roar game. Secondly, the stats there say that the Nix committed 21 fouls for 4 yellows, and CCM committed 12 fouls for 2 yellows. Seems fair to me.

In the Roar game, the foul count was similar the other way around (21-12 or something), and Roar had 3 yellows to our 1. Again, seemed fair to me.

Are there ever any better highlights apart from on the a-league site? It's an awful package if so. Barely picks any of the game up!

Was delighted to see us pick up the 3 points, bit disappointed to see the crowd figures a bit low but hopefully a bumper one for the next one. Will certainly be there!

Hope they can get something out of the next game on Friday ?

If you have a VPN to somewhere that doesn't have the broadcast rights e.g. Romania, Switzerland, Brazil then you can watch the full game on youtube:
