but yeah, hardly a 'primetime' airing

"about the Beckham effect"  I hope it's more than just Becks that gets discussed. Perhaps a mention or two of the 'Nix?

I bet Maggie Barry is totally into her football, especially the Nix.

Terry does well with the media, i reckon he'll use the opprtunity well, but you are right depends on how they cut it as to what we''ll get

Just realised that an edit doesn't bump anything

anyway Terry came across well as usual, some talk re the Phoenix along the lines of

"happy with first season", "some recruiting will happen", "in for the long haul", "other teams to come out and maybe Becks again" "the rest of NZ football community needs to build on the Nix success", "enjoys the way folks of all ages are saying thanks etc.", "the club is committed to being involved with schools, football clubs etc"

so not unexpected stuff (and given the context it was never going to be about any particular 'news', but always nice to hear people from the club in the media

interesting backgrounder from his perspective - I imagine the guy was quite devastated by the recent loss of his father and his brother so it's good to hear he's getting as much from the Phoenix presence as we are
