Hey folks,
Don't forget, as per the YF newsletter that Dewhurst has the
microphone from midday until 4pm troday on RadioSport.
Good opportunity to email, text or call with some opinions,
comments and predictions for WPFC this season, and all other
footballing matters. Email is a good option if you're at work and/
or don't wanna speak over the radio. Dewhurst is pretty good, tends
to read out all the emails he gets.
It's not often we get a football friendly host, so lets not
allow the ussual sports to dominate this time slot 
Perhaps a ahcnace for some of the lads who've been going at it
in the Regional Football posts to take the controversy to the
airwaves, that'd be brilliant!

good interview with Glen Moss on NewstalkZB today, raving about the
supporters at the game last week. Apparently the team were in the
changing room almost dumbstruck at the level of support and the
noise WE were making

Dewhurst just read my email (only about 2 minutes
after I sent it too).
I forwarded the reply from our friend at TVNZ and he had
this to say...
Showing a teams result is not a broadcasting issue.
It only becomes an issue when they show the entire game.
I think we have done a great job this week in highlighting
this issue. Will be interesting to see how tonights game is covered
on tomorrows news.

Spoonley is a brilliant signing! Even though the U20's didn't do
very well, he was brilliant. He will be great keeper when Mossy and
Paston leave for All Whites duties.

First of all, Robbie Fowler has signed for Cardiff - according to the Phoenix fans at the Ring of Fire last weekend, there's more to do in Cardiff���
I am interested to get your thoughts on the press responsibilities regarding the Phoenix. It has been noted that the different television channels (TVNZ, Sky and TV3) made mention of the fact that the 'Nix were beaten in their first game against the Central Coast 2 weeks ago, but there was no mention at all of their first win. I understand that cameras were not at the game when we beat Sydney, but I would have thought that some mention could have been made.
Do you think that the NZ press (certain journalists and media outlets aside) only cover football stories in NZ if they are negative?
