Remember the darkness, the shocking drunks, the over-crowding, the fire-risk, the over-whelmed bar ?  Remember the goals, the chants, the smell...

It all comes back this week. Get down the Kings for Adelaide vs The MIGHTY Phoenix Saturday night from 21:00.

Is it likely to be heaving on Saturday night? Like, do I need to get there early?

It's a bit of an unknown with the Kings, certainly last year when it was the Fever Lounge it was an absolute monster and you had to be in early.  With two floors it might not be so bad, but maybe BigDunc can tell us what he's expecting.

Wharfies prize-giving might take away a few punters. Expect us to turn up later though to celebrate a Nix victory (crosses fingers and toes)

Hope the Wellington taxi fleet will be able to cope on Sat at around 11...otherwise we'll have to march to town en masse.

Won't be a pretty sight.

That's what I thought. Looks like one of the above posters is planning to miss the game by getting a taxi in at 11pm?

They will all be at Waterside Karori prizegiving and trying to stretch that out as late as they can.

Standard Scotsman, drunk at midday.

We were referring to heading into the Kings after prizegiving is finished, that'll probly be around 11 as they showing the Phoenix at the prizegiving.

But you should definitely be at the Kings by 9pm!

I'll always remember the night down there when we beat Perth away. The game started about 11pm and didn't finish until 1am, the place was packed to the gills and hot as a sauna. When Daniel scored people just went bananas, hugging and jumping and yelling. Drinks going everywhere. And the noise!  I skinned my knuckles punching what i thought was air but was really the roof, it didn't hurt until I woke up in the morning. Unforgettable.

When Daniel cooly fired the ball into the back of the net against Perth last season, the scenes of carnage in the Fever Lounge is something I will never forget.

See ya at the Kings tomorrow night for some more wild celebrations ...

Mon the Phoenix!

Ahhhh I still remember the ngiht down the 4 Kings when the Nix beat Newcastle 3-2, Barts and I picked the score and won a stack of cash then we proceeded to spend it all on the bar, I remember f**k all about it but I'm told it was a brilliant evening

I'll be down there tonight with a few of the lads to watch the game
