I might have this wrong, but does this mean they need to score 8 to win?
Christiano goal disallowed for off side.

Nope only 6 provided Gamba don't score any more!
Away goals only count double if the scores are level on aggregate at the end of 180mins!

Adelaide in finals = epic fail
So true. An aggregate so far of 12-0 in 2 and a bit final matches.

Especially cruel of Vidmar to put that little boy in goal for Adelaide. I just want to give the poor wee fella a hug.

Adelaide have done the A-League proud to get to the final. Lets hope rules are changed and one day the Nix are there

Away goals never count double, they're only used as a tie-breaker if the aggregate score from two legs is level, but the games did not finish in identical scorelines to produce such an outcome (i.e 1-0, 0-1).
It's one of my pet hates, hearing the drivel of 'away goals counting double'.

Adelaide could've scored 4 or 5 in the 2nd half but they were well beaten overall.

If Adelaide could have scored 4 or five then Gamba could have made 20 had they needed to.
Seriously.
Certainly the teams where on very different levels.
But congrats to the reds for getting that far
