Similar story to Ross Aloisi.  So many years in football then injury made them choose between playing a bit more or being able to live properly afterwards.  Thanks for everything you've done with the Knights and Phoenix.  Worked hard and always gave 100%.  All the best for the future and congratulations on the baby.

Yep I was a big fan of Johnno at the Knights and he put in some very level headed games for the Nix as well.
Well done Johnno and thanks heaps.

As long as it's for the opposition, I hope.

Did he ever get to go to any Elton John Parties around that time?HarryHotspur2009-02-11 22:19:01

You should know that it was - "which Nix player scored against Man U at Old Trafford" was one of the questions on the day we ate two plates of ribs then went on the bungy

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

He had some nice things to say about the Nix in this morning's Dom. Thanks for all your efforts and I'll wear my Johnson 12 shirt with pride.

Thanks Richard for the effort and the passion. thanks too for your service at QPR as well. I wish you a happy retirement, perhaps coaching? Sorry about the injury not healing properly, the joys of playing at the highest level i guess.

Take care.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
