Interesting - to me - snippet in a Press report on the Mainland game.

"Wellington Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert desperately needs the two strikers he is targeting from England and South America after a goalless draw with a Canterbury regional squad."

As well as Greenacre? Hope it works out.

Going by the story (below), we need all the help up front we can get.

Amen to that! A last minute rush might mean we have to rely on compilation videos of clapped out foreigners again. I reckon if you recorded the 5 moves/shots I ever made worth mentioning in my so far 35 years playing I might have a chance to leave Paekak 3rds and help Leo & co out!
