That was a great goal by Daniel. Even the goal that Smelt got. I just enjoyed watching our number 13 sprint down the right and find space. We just look good.

It is great just to see them again......after the bummer of the
initial loss to CCM and then the excitement of being in Yard 22 and
chanting them to the mighty victory over Bling FC. Then
following them online for the last two games has been fun but
frustrating - especially when one of those games could've been
here! They are certainly playing well and their passing looks
sharp and finishing is just getting better and better - Daniels
winning goal was GOLD!!!

Imagine what it is like been a phoenix fan in Auckland, not even been able to go to home games (although I'll try make it down for a couple)... very frustrating. I need to find a job in Wellington...

Jeez that second goal was world class sure bodes well for the
regular season although that spot of defending which lead to the
tards goal doesn't.
Daniels goal was excellent, but for all of the stick Smeltz has

looked like he knew what he was doing and just did it, no fuss,

I agree with that nice clinical finish,lets hope he can carry that
sort of finish into the games that really count.

Smeltz was EVERYWHERE that game. Him and Daniel popped up all of
the time. They seem to have a decent combination going.

What goals, what play, what a start!!!!
Hopfully we can do the same to melbourne when they visit the
ring of fire. We got mentality on our side.
Just watched Daniels goal again. Whichever journo reckoned the Brazilians did too much diving obviously got it wrong. If there was ever a good opportunity to go down in the box it was just prior to Daniels goal, but he took the difficult option and banged it in from a tight angle instead.
Class act, even the own goal was class. I think the team are going
to do alright this season. Not last for sure!
