Saw Christie today...

I saw Jeremy Christie today sat outside the cafe at the bottom  of the steps up to Champs today, and I stopped and mistakingly said "Hey, Plodder!". He looked at me for a minute before I corrected myself and said "I mean, hey Jeremy." I then proceeded to tell him that he diid well playing as a make-shift right-back this season. He said Thanks and I went on my way.....feeling an idiot because he looked like he had no idea why I called him Plodder! hahaha.

Haha, yeah. Bags being on Guliano's team for all future kick arounds! His lady friend last sunday seemed quite nice too.

Were you being serious?

Three for me, and two for them.

Yes I was Buffon, he was the best Right-bak we had all season. He messed up ONCE against CCM, and thats why we dropped the 4-4-2. He did well playing a position he's not used to.

Who else did we have in right back?

Three for me, and two for them.

Rees played there in a 4-4-2 early in his spell with us

Lia last game and one pre-season

of them all Rees did the best and Vince was a good fill-in

(i realise your question was probably rhetorical Buffon, but hey posting keeps me alive and from my response you'll figure that i share your view of Christie's suitability as a first choice right back)

Not rhetorical at all and thank you for replying. I asked because we played 3 at the back quite regularly so i couldn't remember who else played at RB but yes Rees was streets ahead of Christie.

Three for me, and two for them.

Clebo (I think) played there, and Old and O'Dor gave it a shot as well.

yeah, how my memory is failing

yep, they all got a run there, with O'dor (CCM away) and Clebo (Newc away) i'm fairly sure they both got shifted to a central position and/or subbed off as it became apparent that they weren't fullbacks
