I plan on being in NZ more than a week.  I read somewhere that during the RWC the Nix willl be playing at different stadium.  Is that info correct?

I plan on packing my suitcase with Nix gear.

A-League starts on 7th Oct. Draw is not out yet..

RWC quarter finals in Wgtn are on 8 &9 Oct. I think the other two QFs are in Auckland on the same weekend.

Semi-finals and finals in Auckland later (and hence I don't care)

....unless that game turns out to be an away" home game" in Aucks, say at NHS on the same weekend? Mind you, accomodation would be horrendous.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

And you can hit up Four Kings with us to watch any away games.

If you're lucky you'll get an away win.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

With any luck you might be in town for our first home game of the season. Always a good experience.

I am not a Kiwi, but a Yank whose grand parents are from Mexico.

I got curious about the A-League.  Yellow Fever impressed me on Youtube. I like the All Blacks and NZ's scenery and lifestyle from what I have read on the internet.

As result, I am a Wellington Phoenix supporter!

Good on ya mate, always good to hear of overseas interest. USA do play a Rugby WC match at Westpac Stadium (vs. Australia), so while the timeframe may not be the best for you to catch a home Nix match, perhaps you could at least make pilgrimage to the hallowed turf that is the Ring of Fire. Totally not the same as catching a Phoenix match (even when sold out, rugby matches tend to be bland atmosphere-wise, at least in this country) but alas, it's an option.

Might interest you to know also that a former Nix trialist, Team Wellington player, and All White - Cole Peverley - is somewhat connected to your local Seattle Sounders. He had a trial there and is now with the Charleston Battery, with the suggestion being that Seattle are keeping an eye on him with the intent of possibly signing him up in the future. IIRC.

Charleston Battery did well on signing Cole Peverly. Charleston Battery is a good option for a lot of players such as getting minutes and money.

If you like shouting "Who Are Ya"
And doing D-I-S-C-O in the rain?
If you're not into rugby
Then you have half a brain
If you love Ricki Herbert's moustache
From the World Cup '82
Then it's the Fever that you look for
Over in aisle 22

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride!!!
