I know its early and all - but we have to start somewhere. It wont work at first, but to have a club song would be awesome - first in the A-League to adopt their own song.

I follow the Phoenix
Down to the Cake Tin
Listening to the wind of change
An August summer night
Soldiers passing by
Listening to the wind of change

The world closing in
Did you ever think
That we could be so close, like brothers
The future's in the air
I can feel it everywhere
Blowing with the wind of change

Chorus:
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
In the wind of change

Walking down the street
Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever

I fallow the Moskva
Down to Gorky Park
Listening to the wind of change

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
In the wind of change

The wind of change blows straight
Into the face of time
Like a stormwind that will ring
The freedom bell for peace of mind
Let your balalaika sing
What my guitar wants to say

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams
With you and me

Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
In the wind of change

If that song is aimed at boring us and trying to make the whole place fall asleep than sure we can choose that song..I could hardly understand what that guy was saying....Why are we still lookin for one..THe clear winner has to be don't dream it's over.

There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There's a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road
While you're traveling with me

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

Now I'm towing my car, there's a hole in the roof
My possessions are causing me suspicion but there's no proof
In the paper today tales of war and of waste
But you turn right over to the T.V. page

Now I'm walking again to the beat of a drum
And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only shadows ahead barely clearing the roof
Get to know the feeling of liberation and relief

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
Don't ever let them win

It's so perfect it hurts.

I actually do think that "Don't dream it's over" would be a ripper. I'
m keen to adopt it, it's the best of those I've seen suggested. and it's Kiwi, can't get much more meaningful than that.

Whoever sings that song will probably find themselves becoming the first supporter in the a-league to be assassinated.

Wow, very long songs as of late. I dont think the supporters will take to them right away. Itll take us 2-3 years to establish a good sounding song.
