I had never heard of him before i was browsing the Soccernet website and looking at the team list his name was there and noticed he was a Goalkeeper whatever happened to him

I remember him at the Roar V1 - he was mean't to be their number one 1, though very quickly got overtaken by Liam Reddy then went off to Scotland (poss Falkirk?) IIRC, which I probably don't 

Reddy wasn't at the Clogs in V1, he was at Newcastle.  He moved to the clogs after Newcastle appointed Nick Alphabet as they had a huge dust up.

As predicted HN (my recalling incorrectly)... he was (unexpectedly) better than Higgins, who turned out to be more than just a bit sh!t.

Though to be fair, that can be said about many of the Roar V1 setup

Whos the 3rd keeper currently training with the Nix?
