Got to laugh last night. Went to the Victory Game with my family. Unfortunately I bought a family season pass one week before I got the job at Phoenix. Scanned our season pass and they all did not work. All  season passes all the same barcode on them. This means that the first person who gets to the stadium will get in and the rest can't get in as the barcode has been used. They have 20,000 members,  so big re-print coming.

So what will i get a completely new season pass

my ticket turned up today.  I am wearing it now.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Spoke to Irish chap at ticketek today. He said they were processing the last few of the older season tickets and these would be sent out by courier tomorrow / Wednesday - here's hoping

He also mentioned that season pass sales have gone past the 2000 mark....

Our second one arrived today, although mine is a concession and the Junior News' one is an adult...

Fingers crossed for you Zephyr.

Ring Vienna and leave a message folks.  They hope they will have all delivered by Friday but talk to her in case you need other options.

HERE WE GO AGAIN! I bought PHOENIX level tickets a month ago. Spent two days last week on the phone to Ticketek finally spoke to Vienna at 5pm on Tuesday who assured me they would be sent early this week by courier. Well its the end of Wednesday and they still haven't arrived! What happens now? Last week i must have left somewhere between 5 and 10 messages i cannot believe that i will have to do that again and at the end of it all still not have either my tickets or the fabulous merchandise!

I hope to arrive home to find it sitting in my letterbox tonight. Fingers crossed that all previous promises will be upheld, the nice, shiny, candy-like season pass that I parted a hard earnt $184 over a month ago will be waiting for me and balance will be returned to the universe.

I'm building myself up for a fall, aren't I...

does anyone know what the deal is with NZ SuperCard holder tickets?

You can get cheap season tickets for NZ SuperCard holders but our friends at Ticketek don't have a separate price for these for tickets for individual games.

I've tried emailing the Phoenix (twice, once last week, once this week) but have had no reply - suspect they are busy dealing with season ticket issues

I have taken a punt and bought a kids ticket for the game this coming weekend - it should be the same price of $10. I'm hoping this will work out OK....but does anyone know for sure? Did anyone go with a NZ SuperCard holder to the last game?

Got my season pass in the mail today (Regular post, not courierd). Im sorry for all those who are still waiting. Mine took exactly one week from date of purchase to arrive in my mail box. So there are some good stories in with the bad. Thankfully i was lucky enough to speak to Vienna on the day i purchased it and she even got me the exact seat I asked for.

I find this hard to believe as I purchased mine well before that and still haven't seen it. I don't expect to see it now before the weekend and I'm not paying to go into a game I have a season ticket for. I might try Ticketek again tomorrow but they've not been any use so far and I am regretting now that I bought a season ticket at all as it looks like I'll be missing out on the game.

Phoenix have advised that for concession tickets you buy childrens tickets

Finally got mine yesterday, after about a month and a half wait. Also got another one, in the seat next to me, with my name on it. Turns out it's for one of the guys in my group who hasn't got his yet. He's gonna try and get it sorted, but I don't like his chances.

Ticketek are a god damn joke...

I ordered ours over the counter before the last home game and they havn't arrived yet.

Phoenix website says this:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Because of a delay in printing extra membership packs, season pass purchasers will need to collect tickets for the next game from the memberships office at the game.

Man this is BS.  I ordered my season pass right after the first game of the season, saying specifically I want to be in the YF zone, and today I get a letter from Ticketek saying:

"Due to overwhelming demand we're printing more season passes, here are tickets to the next two games in the meantime."

Now that I thought was fair enough, but I looked at my tickets and they're in Aisle 24!?  That's nowhere near the YF zone... wtf!

you can stand on top of Frankie Mac's passed out body in the YF zone

Yeh I figure there's nothing stopping me going over -by- the YF zone even if I stand in the aisle ;)

As someone from CHCH who has been watching the ticket debacle from a distance and is not directly involved, it amazes me how completely stuffed up it has been. I mean, how hard is it to issue tickets to people?  It's not like it's a brand new concept (selling tickets) surely it can be easily done.  Has there been any official word as to what went wrong?

got mine finally yesterday thanks again to vienna
they model them off the wgtn rugby season pass and all, so the printer would already have a template set up, just a few changes to make and go so why did it take so long ? still it's over now (for me )

What a load of bollocks Ticketek are.  I had trouble again today buying tickets.  Went to one outlet, TSB Arena, who denied all knowledge of YF Zone tickets and insisted that I should go to the Opera House, because they had access to a different 'code', whatever the f8ck that means.  Went to Opera House, which was closed, so went to the St James where they guy insisted that the YF Tickets were only available on the internet.  I got abusive and he rang Phoenix directly, whereupon miraculously he got access to a different 'code' and my ticketing woes were over.

If I wasn't a bit mental I'd have walked away and just watched it at the Backbencher which would be a) cheaper and b) a sh*tload easier to organise.

If this doesn't get fixed soon my 'can't be arsed' threshold will be crossed.

The people in front of me in the queue at the St James also wanted Phoenix tix had been told on the phone that the MFC office was closed and to go to the St James. The St James staff told them to go to MFC.

When I got irate the guy at Ticketek blamed the Phoenix and said "they can't decide what they're doing from one minute to the next."

Now I don't believe that for a second, but it's a reflection of the corporate culture in Ticketek.  The customer and client are never right!

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

The phoenix have set in stone what they want from ticketek. The problem is they have set up a sub office at ticketek just for the Phoenix and regional branches dont know there arse from thier elbow when it comes to dealing with seating requests. I used to always go to the the little ticketek stall in cable car lane in the book shop. They were always really helpfull and quick.
