Hmmm, we paid for 8 tickets on 13 July, and still no contact.  I've left 2 messages (with the luverly tim brown) but no reply. Anyone know if there are any delays? Anxious to get allocation after the suberb atmostphere in YFZone on Sunday!

The tickets and packages should be sent out in the next two weeks.

They go up to Auckland at the end of this week to get printed then shipped back!

Don`t worry. We decided it was all to difficult and contracted it out to China.

I've just joined this forum, and all is explained.

You fellas were the chorus to my left on Sunday. Loved it. Keep it up. =D  It was very satisfying to read in the paper on Monday that the Sydney team actually commented on the fervour of Wellington's supporters.

I'm very keen to see every game but, football conventions aside(?), the gold zone at half-way seems nice. But then a season pass means I couldn't drag others along for the odd game...

Hi Fink,

I asked them about that, they said that though you are 'officially' supposed to sit in your allocated seat, your mate(s) could pay at the gate and you all could find seats together that weren't taken somewhere other than your allocated seats,

if someone comes along later on with a season ticket i guess a quiet apology and shuffle off to the side abit and problem solved

I reckon, get a season ticket mate - it's a buzz and it supports the lads, hanging out to get mine in the mail

Baring a sellout, there should always be rrom to move around within the ground. Might pay to keep an eye on where you'd like to sit, then wait until just before kick off and move then, just in case someonelese has tha desired seat booked. But like Tiger's says, I'm sure we can establish an unwritten rule amongst the fans that if someone has your seat when you arrive, then they will shift along a couple. I'm sure there won't be any issues.

I don't know if there was allocated seats on Sunday, but I just stood where I wanted to.  No bother.

My feeling is that we should move the fever zone round to where the fattest steward is, so we can give them grief if the game gets boring.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

What a fantastic idea Frankie. Or we could place a plate of hot pies pitchside beneath Aisle 21. That way the fattest steward would come to us. Although we'd have to wait for him/ her to roll their way accross the ground, could take some time if they start the game accross the other side.  .

"Quick look over there..."

Sounds of Hard News sneaking down and stealing the pies before the steward gets them.

Got my season ticket! I'm more of a general sports fan than a soccer fan, but I'm sure the enthusiasm from sitting in the Fever section will rub off on me! Still, I'm excited :D Can't wait for the season to start...

I reckon jumping in to the YF zone will have you addicted pretty quick, sounds like your showing the frist symptoms already.

I think its totally slack that money has been taken for season tickets and no one has been in touch!

I've left 2 messages now with Tim Brown (does he know its his personal credibility thats being ripped to shreds by no one returning the calls?) to no avail.

Am tending to blame Ticketek for the hassle, rather than the Phoenix but still.....

Are there any other / many others out there in this situation?

I managed to get a number, that wasn't an answer ph, and talked to a very helpful Phoenix staffer who sorted the ticket booking - i haven't got the ticket/card (apparently after 4th Aug) but i did get to speak top a live person who could help.

BUT it took a bit of doing  - 2 calls to tickettek, 1 to that answer phone, one to the Michael fowler centre (the last ticket call took more than 15 mins). Basically i kept 'nipping at their heels' til someone at tickettek took some responsibility. (sorry but i didn't keep that direct number).

Good luck, and it would seem to be in the club's interest to get this sorted.

Hi,
After calling the Ticketek 0800 number (0800 842538) they gave me the number for Stadium Memberships. I left them  a message ....and tried them again just now and got hold of an actual, real, live person!

It turned out to be the wrong place to contact but the lady there was great and sorted things out for me. She says that there has been a back log and its all but cleared now. She reckons the number that gets Tim Brown's message is still the best one to call.

So, if anyone else out there is having problems like this, try to call the membership number again. If you don't have any luck in the next day or so then let me know and I'll give you the direct number of the lady who helped me (don't want to give this out here as she was so helpful and also so convinced that the Tim Brown number would now work).

Do they have two Tim Brown's or do you think he pissed of someone in the office so they are giving out his name and number ?

Seems an odd person as a contact for the season tickets.

Yep thoroughly PD off Ticketek are sh*t,trying to get a straight answer out of them is hopeless,sh*t i hate these setups where they grab your money then think they can leave you hanging for ages.About to bang out an email to the Phoenix and make them aware, just hope they show a bit more understanding than the buggars at Ticketek.

Poor Tim Brown. It's not his fault...I just hope someone has let him know what's going on! It was quite a cool idea having someone from the team on the answerphone....until it all went horribly wrong.

I did email the Phoenix to let them know what was happening. They have replied and said that Ticketek were shortstaffed which is why there was a backlog etc. Apparently they have 'spoken with' Ticketek about this and things should be much improved from now on. They were very apologetic. Reading between the lines I think they rate Ticketek about the same level we do!

All the more reason to get a membership I guess - then you only have to deal with the nasty ticketing organisation once :-)

yeah, I had problems with delays too - the woman I finally spoke at ticketek  said she was the only one person dealing with the phoenix memberships!  I suppose its a good sign ie. HUGE numbers tickets being sold  although when I asked her how many she said she couldn't tell me

I got my general admission today in the mail and it only took 1 week exactly.

my only concern is, when i applied for my ticket, the guy said any preference for seating ?" i said yellow fever zone please" and then he prattled something and typed in something to the effect
anywhere as long as it's under cover ?  so i just want to get it sorted
i don't want to end up in aisle 32
