I have to admit I was a little puzzled with Disco playing so high.
I can see the logic in trying to neutralise Cassio, and had we won it could have been called as a 'masterclass'.

But playing Hearfield so high up fo me, forr his first time this season, was not the greatest move.



Also Ifill coming on with 30 minutes to play was just silly. Had we gone to extra time he wouldnt have made it. I thought ten minutes max was what he was looking at. And also, taking off DMac was never ever gonna work either. He can run 90 minutes because his game isnt based on his running.

It should have been Greenacre on for Troy and switched to a formation that has been working for us.

I also thought taking off D-Mac was the bad desicion, if it was anyone that would score - it was going to be him.

Hindsight.

If Ifill  had gone on with 10 to play, you guys would have been screaming "Terrible conservative Ricki decision! Give him time to play! Get that Donkey off the pitch!"

What we should do is have a match thread where discussions like this take place.  Oh, hang on. We do.

No I said from the start that they were poor decisions. Albeit I wouldnt have made this thread had we won.

It was stupid to bring Ifill on for 30 minutes. Ten to go would have been key, and Ifill may have had to play another 30 had we equalized.


Still dont know why we experimented with Troy in our last game, when we had options that have worked for us in the past 4 wins we have had
