Auckland will rise once more
9th. Gold Coast took the honour of the wooden spoon.
Allegedly
Well, we only fill about 25% of the stadium, the crowd is a long way from the pitch, hardly any away fans to spice things up...
With the pitch on the 3 rating categories Westpac is only rated low on pace of the pitch, otherwise Westpac is up there with the best.

As opposed to the empty seats in sydneys stadium?
Allegedly
if empty seast s are a concern, the all the stadia would rate low, none of the regualr season games sell out, excluding mayb e the melbourne derby
Queenslander 3x a year.
People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.
The playing surface at AAMI Park was recognised as number one in the
2012/13 PFA Pitch Rating System for the second season running, just
ahead of Etihad Stadium and Parramatta Stadium respectively.
Whilst
the players acknowledged the impressive playing surface at AAMI Park,
the assessment of the players was that the quality of the pitches on
average in the A-League fell slightly in comparison with the previous
season.
The atmosphere created by the Melbourne Victory
supporters group Blue and White Brigade also made it consecutive honours
when they narrowly edged out the Western Sydney Wanderers Red and Black
Bloc as the best in the competition. The ratings by the players showed a
significant improvement in the atmosphere at A-League matches on
average across the competition in comparison to last season.
Melbourne
Victory Captain Adrian Leijer said the recognition for the Blue and
White Brigade was a reward for the electric atmosphere they create at
their home matches.
"For years our fans have been the benchmark
when it comes to support in the stands across the A-League, and as
players, we certainly feel that it gives us an edge over our opponents.
"We
know our fans will also take their support to another level in the
coming seasons, now that Western Sydney's Red and Black Bloc are on the
rise, and we can't wait to see it again when we take to the pitch."
On
receiving the players’ award for best atmosphere the Blue and White
Brigade’s Adam Tenneni said: “Like the club as a whole, the North and
South Terraces of MVFC are something that we look at with a lot of pride
in what we’ve achieved over eight seasons. There is enormous effort
that goes into match day and behind the scenes by a lot of people, so
this award is for all Victory fans. To support your club is not about
accolades like this however, to be voted the best by the A-League
players is a prestigious honour and we’re very proud to still be
recognised as the best having won this award now in consecutive years”.

Not sure how we rate worse than Hunter

Hunter is a disgrace of a pitch! Only slightly better than Skilled Park. No way we are worse.
Predictabley an article on this by the dom post is on the front page.
Complete with John Morrison having a go at the Phoenix.

Time to bump one of the hundred 'Build a new Stadium' threads, so the Doom Post can have a story for tomorrows front page?
Interesting there is very little comment on the pitch rating. All about the crowd.
Like has been said before, it's because of the 25,000 seats in the stadium that are empty, rather than the Fever being the worst in the league. 7k at a Nix game still shits all over 20k at a Hurricanes game in terms of atmosphere.

Chuck a mariners' crowd in Westpac and see what the atmoshere is like.
"C'mon Wellington, make some noise!"

Not particularly worried given only 10 people were surveyed.

Off topic, but how damp was the grass for the AFL? Was shocked it see it reported as "boggy".
