Is Qu a striker the Phoenix should have a look at or not?

was originally from sina.com.cn, Wellinton, Queensland & Newcastle was interested, but the thing is his adelaide contract officially ends in June, so I assume we can't do anything at the moment as well as other clubs.

For Chinese clubs, I think it is hard for Qu to join any Super League club (age, injury, performance last year), maybe one of League One clubs if he can't make the A-league return.

Qu has officially been released.

I will again register my concerns about filling our side with players that other clubs have released...

...the V2 Qu was pretty average and has been replaced with young Australians who weren't good enough to win a series against our U-20's last year.

The V2 Qu was injured for the better part of the season. I take ur point we saw a better player in V1 but some players return from injury better than others. From all accounts I hear he has been back to full fitness for quite some time. Remembering he was Adelaide's marquee signing, I think he would be a great signing. The kind of explosive forward that could create space for a Bertos or Brockie (providing u sign those guys of course).

Depending on his fitness  he might be worth a look at remember the pre season can be played with non contracted players so don't rule out players like Qu or Tortori as its a great chance to look at them.

What happened to and who was the Chinese wing forward who played the last few games for the Knights...he was awesome.....forget old, injured and expensive men like Qu,.
