Have the screen going with a couple of cameras around the field? It
would be good for some off play stuff and the replays of
goals.

It's good when you want to see contentious decisions again, though.
In saying that - in Melbourne they don't play bad decisions
anyway!!

Don't think they're allowed to show controversial decisions on the big screen.
Don't know if it always happens, but at one of the games at
the Stadium (against Sydney, I think) few years back they had a
referee in with the telly people so he could make sure they
wouldn't show anything too controversial on the big screens. If my
memory serves me right, which it probably doesn't, the ref
concerned was Steve Sargent.

like Phil Style suggests, that might just be because rugby
fans would rather wave at themselves on screen than watch the
game
if i was confident that one or both of the main channels
would show the goals, i'd happily give the scren a miss - i reckon
it just takes attention away from the real action - i.e what's
happening on the pitch

well you've seen the way league fans get when the crap ref calls
are shown. Its probably better for the atmosphere of the stadium if
that kinda stuff isnt shown, however i would like some shots of the
action so that when it heads down the other end i can see the
phoenix put it in the back of the net.

It would be abit of fun to have the the big screen on, but
