Given Ben's apparent love of surfing and his, hmmm, unusual  looks I propose that he be officially nicknamed Seamonster after the classic 70s Sid and Marty Kroft (see also, HR Puf'n'stuf, Lidsville etc) kids TV show "Sigmund and the Seamonsters". Pic attached (for the culturally ignorant that's Sigmund in the middle).

"the finest friends there will ever be, on the land or on the sea".

Could do something with that for a chant?

You better run, you better hide
We gotta keep you out of sight.  Be careful Sigmund.

Cover your tracks when you leave
Cause you know Zelda wont believe your friend is Sigmund.

Who ever heard of a friendly seamonster
Lovin and laughin his life away?

The other monsters put you down
cause youre not mean And now weve found a friend in Sigmund.

Hes alright.  Hes out of sight.  He makes me smile, like his style.

I hope he stays awhile & hes doin fine.  Hes a friend of mine.

OK anyone care to rework this...

Pufnstuf (please note the spelling) was a classic, one of those progammes the kids loved and adults could see the humour in too, especially if you were an LSD addled university drop out and full-time anti 'Nam protester.
A bit like Road Runner and The Munsters, but with drug references throughout.

Anyway, whaddya reckon? Ben "Seamonster" Sigmund?

this line has potential on its own: Who ever heard of a friendly seamonster

Said with the same rhythm as "you're going home in a Sigmund ambulance"

Nickname: sorted.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
