Signing rumours
Not who we'd like to see but the rumours from around the traps on
who we have signed.
Completely unsubstantiated out of Aus says we have signed former Victory player Vince Lia.

Vince Lia (born March 18, 1985, in Shepparton, Victoria) is a
football (soccer) player who plays for Melbourne Victory in the
Hyundai A-League.
He has captained both the Australian U-17's and U-20's at the 2003 and 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship respectively and spent the early stages of his professional career in the NSL at South Melbourne FC.

Would be an OK signing HN. His talented and i dont see him
as a Melbourne Victory failure he just wasnt given enough
oppurtunity to be kept on the list.
any idea when this news will be confirmed? any idea when the club
will get an offical web site to confirm things on?
I predict the signings (4 or 5) will be made on Friday.
Can't see us making announcements on Good Friday!

Unless we're signing Jesus.

I'm hoping if I keep this brazillian thing going it will come true.
Good batch of signings first up, but i won't believe anything until its official. Looking forward to seeing who the other 3 imports are, hope wellington get a marquee signing or maybe its the unknown brazilian
Noah Hickey was on Radio Sport this morning saying that his deal is
all but done.
No surprise there though. He's very good with the media
and been genuinely committed to NZ and the Knights so would be nice
to have someone like him sign up first...
Normo's coming home
Yeah Noah Hickey is a class player and what makes him better is he
can play just about anywhere on the park.
Word has it that it will be a primarily black home kit. Sounds
too Knightsy to me..
This is what we want to see.. http://www.stuff.co.nz/0a15875.html

Black with yellow infused would be ok.
All yellow are the Mariners so the FFA wont allow it.
Hoops, black and yellow, with some red for a little extra punch.
Signed,
Stuart of Hamilton
That aint really ricki is it? :p
Seem good signings
Noah is crap - he should have gone down with the Ark and saved us
all some trouble. He has the touch of a donkey. He is good in the
media so maybe that is where his future lies.
the kits gonna be black with yellow and white trim thanks to
Reebok- but I will be wearing all yellow and urge you all to do the
same!
Founder
Okay would really prefer all yellow.
Where did you find out about this mate?
I've heard about O'Dor signing as well. If the rest of the signings
come off too it could be a decent team.
Mind you I've never rated Lia. Didn't do much for South Melbourne in the NSL and did precisely f.all for Victory.

I heard we were looking at Ronaldo - unfortunately that's all we'll
be doing, looking.
Totori, what a waste of the precious import player spots?
Totori, what a waste of the precious import player spots?
Yeah he scores goals - what a waste
How do you know he will score in the A-League.
As has been stated many times the level of difference between
the NZFC and A-League is very high.
Totori would definetly score in the A-League. Better than Archie
I'm afraid new of signing Steven Old does not excite me one bit. I
have never seen him play well yet.
Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet
I can confirm that Zephyr Rovers aren't signing Teddy - but Perth
may be.
Ive heard that Deco might be on the transfer market, Zephyr should really be trying to lure him across.

I remember last season reebok asked all teams if they were hapy with their strips and if they wanted any changes, only victory decided 2 get a new away strip which they had input on, im sure wlgtn could get stripes if they ask
I agree Oi Oi, Dont rate him too highly.

Not to mention the Steven Old/O'Dor confusion that will inevitably result, leading to lazy commentators and journalists naming the wrong man every time.
